Con Co Island – a green pearl rising from the ocean

Vietnam Travel - From Cua Tung Beach of Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province, visitors in Vietnam tourism can overlook to the West and will see a green pearl rising from the ocean as a warship defending offshore. This outpost island of Vietnam is named Con Co, or also called Tiger Island or Hon Me Island.

As far from the coastline of Vinh Linh District only about 30 km, it’s not only known as the resilient island in the American war, but also one of the most beautiful of the Middle Vietnam. The small island of Con Co has its own long and interesting history.
